26 July 2017 : Press release Ipswich Building Society extends its risk and compliance team with two new appointments

Ipswich Building Society has appointed finance industry veterans, Mark Nash and David Ridley, as new managers in its risk and compliance team.

We're big supporters of fundraising campaigns for causes near and far.

Most of our fundraising is organised by our branches, and often involve activities at branch offices or in branch towns.

14 December Ravenswood Santa is coming to Ravenswood! Bring your little, and not so little, ones along - Santa will be arriving in style at 10am courtesy of the Ipswich Roundtable "Rudolph", and will be in the branch until 1pm. There are no admission charges and of course each child will receive a small gift. There is ample free parking outside the branch.
17 December All branches Join us to celebrate Christmas and get festive - we'll supply the mince pies so all we need is you. We're happy to talk about the price of turkey, and the best way to cook a sprout, but singing is optional!
17 December Tower Ramparts Roll up! Roll up! We're holding a Christmas raffle in aid of Age UK Suffolk, and have some super prizes donated by local businesses and friends, including a Christmas hamper, Givenchy shopper bag, King Pin free game voucher, Ufford Park Twilight Spa voucher and many more. Tickets available from 12 December for a suggested donation of £1.

    Aldeburgh branch:

    Acting as a food bank collection point for East Suffolk Food Bank. Whilst all non-perishable food items are welcome they are in need of UHT milk, tinned vegetables and soup, rice, pasta, jam, biscuits, cereals and tinned puddings.

    Hadleigh branch:

    Acting as a food bank collection point for Suffolk FIND & Chapman Centre. Suffolk FIND are in need of items with a long shelf life such as food in tins, jars or packets. The Chapman Centre are managed by Ipswich Housing Action Group (IHAG), offers advice and support to those who are homeless or at risk of losing their home. As well as housing and benefit advice individuals can use the centre as their postal address, access the internet and receive healthcare, showers and hot food. The centre is in particular need of personal items such as: shampoo and shower gel (small containers), toothpaste and toothbrushes, men's underpants and socks (new) and bath towels (new or nearly new).

    Acting as a food bank collection point for Halesworth Community Larder Foodbank. Whilst all non-perishable food items are welcome they are in need of UHT milk, tinned vegetables and soup, rice, pasta, jam, biscuits, cereals and tinned puddings.

    Haverhill branch:

    Acting as a food bank collection point for REACH Foodbank. Whilst all non-perishable food items are welcome they are in need of long-life milk, tinned foods (including soup), pasta, rice, tea, coffee and fruit juice.
