Help us to be the most responsible building society in the UK
Recent scandals in the wider financial industry have prompted us to invite our members and the wider public to help shape the way we operate in our bid to make us the 'most responsible' building society in the UK.
We care about our members, our staff and our local communities, and we've always been very involved with local charities and community groups. We'd now like to hear from you about what you think being a responsible business means, whether it is important to you and how you would like to see us demonstrating our social responsibility.
We are holding workshops in Saxmundham and Ipswich in the next few weeks and are looking for people to take part in informal discussions about social responsibility. Your views will be used to help us develop our future vision and strategy, so it really does matter.
The informal discussions will take place on Tuesday 25 November between 10am and midday at the Fromus Centre in Saxmundham and at the Ipswich Building Society head office on Ransomes EuroPark in Ipswich on Wednesday 3 December between 10am and midday and Thursday 4 December between 6pm and 8pm. Each session will last no more than two hours during which time refreshments will be available.
If you are interested in taking part and making your views know then please contact Ben Brooks on 01473 278492 or email him at BenBrooks@ibs.co.uk.
