Contact Centre Assistant
Responsibility to
Branch Supervisor/Senior Contact Centre Assistant
Job Purpose

To ensure Contact Centre’s sales targets are achieved through the delivery of high quality service and by promoting the Society’s products and services

Key Result Areas

  • To ensure all central contact with the Society is dealt with promptly, professionally and successfully (maintaining Society’s reputation for first class personal service)
  • To communicate (both inbound and outbound) to promote products and services in accordance with sales plans
  • To operate the Society’s Sales Opportunity Process and to adhere to the Society’s service standards
  • To achieve own sales and retention targets and daily objectives
  • To ensure that administration duties are performed accurately and in accordance with Society procedures
  • To effectively process all transactions ensuring no errors are made and that the till balances at the end of each day
  • To comply at all times with statutory and non-statutory regulatory requirements
  • To be responsible for own personal development and to keep up with current relevant issues in relation to own role and the Society

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English at Grades A-C or equivalent
  • A Levels or equivalent
  • IFS Certificates
  • Experience in telephone sales
