Society moving in Halesworth

Ipswich Building Society will be moving into Halesworth town centre, it was announced this week, after the Society signed the lease for the rental of 61 The Thoroughfare. Ipswich Building Society has had a presence in Halesworth for 25 years and is delighted it will be able to improve facilities for local people.

The location in The Thoroughfare, Halesworth, will provide savers and investors with a more accessible local branch, which is wheel-chair friendly and has all-round bigger and better facilities.

Paul Winter, Chief Executive, Ipswich Building Society, said: “Ipswich Building Society has had a branch in Halesworth for 25 years and we are thrilled to be able to make this move and offer local people in Halesworth a more convenient town centre location. We will be undertaking some refurbishment and plan to open the new branch this summer. In the meantime our existing branch in Market Place will remain open.”
