Notice Savings Accounts

If you don't need instant access to your funds, you may find it pays to keep your money in a notice account.

A notice account means you're tied in with specific access restrictions, but can take advantage of a more attractive rate of interest. Generally, the accounts that require you to provide notice or commit your money for a fixed period of time pay higher rates compared to other Society alternatives, although it is always best to check! Our notice accounts require you to inform us ahead of time that you will need access to your funds. If you cannot wait you can access your savings earlier and pay an interest penalty. You should check how much this is before proceeding as if your accumulated interest at that point is less than the penalty the remainder will be deducted from your main balance.

You can find out more and read the terms and conditions for our notice accounts below.

Please note that our savings products and deposit accounts are only available to existing members or new applicants resident in our local postcode areas IP, NR, CO, CM, CB and PE.
