AGM & Voting

Members of the Society were invited to our lead member event of the year; an Audience with Bill Turnbull at our 167th Annual General Meeting

Ipswich Building Society held its 167th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 29 March at Trinity Park. Our Chief Executive, Richard Norrington, and Chairman, Sarah Evans, looked back on the highlights of 2016 and reaffirmed our continued support for Mortgage Misfits and local borrowers in the year ahead.

The event, which is part of the Society’s All In membership programme, attracted a record attendance.

Michelle Tennens, our Senior Independent Director, introduced our guest speaker, former BBC Breakfast presenter and journalist Bill Turnbull following the formal AGM.

You can view the Chairman's and Chief Executive's speeches here.
