We've developed bespoke programmes for Year 2, Year 10, students and prison groups.
Our sessions, delivered by our trained staff, teach financial literacy through real life scenarios, including some fun and games for the young ones, and in schools they meet the needs of the National Curriculum.
Since 2007 we've spent more than 8,000 hours in the classroom, in prisons and in colleges right across the region.
CARING FOR OUR
We want to do everything we can to safeguard our enivronment.
Whether that's cutting down on the amount of waste we produce, installing solar panels or making our branches more energy efficient, we're committed to do our bit in every way we can.
We're also going paperless - next year all voting members with an email address will automatically be sent an electronic voting pack rather than a postal one, saving us having to print upwards of 29,000 packs of which more than 90% end up in the bin.
We're working with local organisations to raise awareness of environmental issues and we've committed to reducing our carbon footprint to ensure future generations are protected from damaging climate change and increasing pollution.
We look after the organisations which in turn care for the local communities in which we operate. At grass roots level we're part of Suffolk Community Foundation's Suffolk Fund.
We also meet on a case-by-case basis to review sponsorship requests and distribute smaller grants. View the policy here and download the application form.
However, we believe what we offer can go above and beyond a one off donation. We're keen to utilise our branch network and our staff to provide help-in-kind services. Some of the ways we could help include:
- Volunteering for staff, or even member volunteering events
- Raffles and competitions across our branches
- Supporting events
We're always happy to discuss what may be possible. Simply get in touch.
