Join in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning this Friday, an initiative which raises funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
In Ipswich this will take place at the Tower Ramparts Shopping Centre with Mayor Hamil Clarke MBE and Mayoress Daisy Weekes also in attendance between 11am and 1pm.
Branches in Aldeburgh, Sudbury, Saxmundham and Haverhill will also be hosting their own fundraising events.
Paul Winter, Chief Executive, Ipswich Building Society: "The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is always popular with our staff and members. Personally I am very much looking forward to enjoying a nice piece of cake and knowing it's for a worthwhile cause."
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning is the annual fundraising campaign launched by Macmillan Cancer Support. All funds donated to the charity will be used to help support the work of Macmillan, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by cancer. Just £25 will pay for a specialist Macmillan nurse to support a family affected by cancer for one hour.
