Are you convinced you’ll never be able to afford a mortgage? Perhaps you think you’re more likely to wake up on the moon than be able to save for a mortgage deposit. For the answers to those all-important questions, join us at our town centre branch for an exciting and informal drop-in session on the who, why, what and how of getting your first mortgage.

Whether you’re poised to buy or not even remotely considering it, our team of expert Mortgage Consultants will be present to talk about different types of mortgages and what you might need to consider before applying for one.

We'll have property professionals Nicholas Estates on hand to talk you through the process of buying your first home, how long it takes and what to look for when hunting for your perfect property. Remember, we’re not here to sell you anything – it’s all about raising awareness around mortgages and helping you to chart your own path to home ownership. That said, you’re of course more than welcome to take a look at our current mortgages to see whether there’s anything that might fit the bill!

If you’re stuck on square one and wondering if you’ll ever be able to afford a mortgage, you can speak to one of our savings supremos to help you manage your money and see how long it might take you to save up enough of a deposit. You can stay for as long or as little as you like - as long as you come away having learnt something you didn't know before, we've done our job!

This event is completely free and open to first time buyers of any age. And of course, by way of apology of making you late for your dinner we’ll be serving all of the obligatory refreshments including teas, coffees and nibbles.

There’s no need to formally register for this event – simply drop in on the night.

Thursday 7 March 2019 from 5pm
