We’re pleased to be returning this year for one of Suffolk’s best days out – the Hadleigh Show. The Show has been at the heart of the town since it began in 1839 and we’re proud to be supporting the community as we have done so in previous years.

The show is set to be a bumper year featuring archery, cookery demonstrations, and Big Pete’s ‘Grim Reaper Monster Trucks’ as well as the famous livestock rings which made the Hadleigh show what it is today. In addition to this, dozens of trade stands will also be showcasing local producers and caterers with a wide selection of tasty snacks, treats, flowers and handmade treasures.

We’ll be along with games and activities for everyone – and the chance to meet and greet Earnest Edmund, our sculpture for the upcoming Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk art trail which starts across Ipswich in June.

This year the show will take place on Saturday 18 May from 8am at the Hadleigh Showground, IP7 5PE. Tickets are available in advance, or you can pay on the day – more information can be found on the Hadleigh Show website.

We’ve won awards for our stand for the last two years running and hope to continue the trend next week – we hope you’ll be able to join us for this fantastic and ‘quintessentially British’ day out.

This article was published under our previous name of Ipswich Building Society. We changed our name in 2021 – find out more.
