Christchurch Mansion Tour

Thu 31-Jan-2019 10:00 am

Join us for an exclusive guided tour of the 16th Century Mansion set in 70 acres of parkland right in the heart of historic Ipswich.

Learn the history of the house, the story of the three families who once lived there and highlights of some of the important items amongst the collection.

The exciting "Kiss and Tell" exhibition will be showing in the Wolsey Gallery which features the iconic sculpture "The Kiss" by Rodin as the centrepiece. The tour will finish with tea, coffee and biscuits.

Accessibility: The tour welcomes members with accessibility requirements. Please be aware that The Wolsey Art Gallery is not fully accessible with a few steps leading to the room – therefore this part of the tour would not be suitable for wheelchair users or those with difficulties climbing stairs.
