A special guided walk of the Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk trail in Ipswich.

Beginning at 11am at our Mutual House branch, members will discover the purpose of the trail before enjoying a guided walk around Ipswich town to visit some of the ‘Elmer’s Big Parade Suffolk’ sculptures. Mik Richardson, an artist who painted some of the sculptures on the trail including our design Earnest Edmund will be hosting the tour alongside a member of the Elmer event team.


Refreshments will be served following the trail back at Mutual House with the event finishing 12.30/45pm.


Trail maps are available for the walk in our branch prior to the event beginning – suggested donation £1 which goes towards the Hospice.



The tour is around Ipswich Town Centre which may have uneven pathways. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions ensuring comfortable/sturdy footwear.



Places at this event will be allocated by ballot. Register your interest by clicking below. A ballot will be held following the closing date and members will be contacted to advise whether they have been successful or not in obtaining a place. For joint registrations both members will be allocated places if successful in the ballot.
